From the night shift to the executive table.
Marlin Todd has spent two decades inside the systems other people depend on, from racking and running Windows infrastructure for one of the world's largest hosting providers to leading the global cloud platform behind a connected medical device used by patients every day. That range, hands on the keyboard to hand on the strategy, is the throughline of his career.
Today he owns cloud operations and platform engineering for a regulated, patient-facing healthcare business, setting strategy and running reliability, automation, and FinOps across distributed teams in the United States, Latin America, and India. He works where technology meets the business, translating infrastructure decisions into the cost, risk, and speed that executives can act on.
He is known for two things in equal measure: building teams and cultures that scale, and turning cloud spend into measurable results, without ever trading away reliability or compliance. He partners naturally with product, security, and regulatory leaders, speaks plainly to the boardroom and the engineering floor alike, and has a long reputation for owning the hardest problems in the room and seeing them through.
